Smackwater Jacks - Back To Their Roots

Ahead of their 50th anniversary, Smackwater Jacks returned to their original branding. We restored their bespoke projection sign and added new boards and window contravision.

We're incredibly excited to show off our new signage for Smackwater Jacks, a proud institution in Burnley town centre that has been going strong since 1977!

Ahead of their 50th anniversary next year, they didn't just want to update their previous signage. The bar wanted to return to their roots with their branding as it appeared all the way back when they first opened in the town.

So, we were more than happy to accommodate. We restored their bespoke projection sign, which has been fitted there since the bar opened in the 70s, including cleaning up and restoring the bespoke brass ring surrounding it.

We also provided some updated boards and window contravision, to evoke nostalgia and to give everything a vintage aesthetic.

This particular job is also on the back of us working on Enzo's Pizzeria for their 40th anniversary, and Barnfields' 50th anniversary celebrations. All very gratifying projects to work on for businesses with deep historical ties to Burnley and the local area.

Now we're getting all nostalgic — may have to drop by for old times' sake!

From a single illuminated logo to a full multi-site rollout — we'd love to hear about it.
